Our Principal

I am excited and honored to serve as the principal of McKee Road Elementary School. I believe every child can learn and thrive when schools provide high expectations, strong relationships, and a safe, supportive environment—and when families and educators work together as partners.

I earned my undergraduate degree in General Education and Special Education from Dowling College on Long Island. I earned my master’s degree in School Administration from UNC Charlotte. I bring experience as an Assistant Principal at Idlewild and McKee Road Elementary, Dean of Students at Idlewild, and as a classroom teacher, and Literacy Facilitator. I started my teaching career in Union County and transitioned to CMS in 2017. Throughout my career, I have focused on strengthening high-quality instruction, fostering positive school cultures, and using data to ensure equitable outcomes for all students.

McKee Road's recognition as an A-rated school that exceeded academic growth, reflects the collective work of students, staff, and families. This success is grounded in a school culture that supports the whole child through strong instruction and social-emotional learning.  As principal, I am committed to continuing this work by being visible, approachable, and engaged.  I look forward to partnering with the McKee Road community to build on this strong foundation and continue supporting student success.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. My husband, Jeff, and I have a miniature dachshund named Beau, and we enjoy traveling, heading to the beach, and cooking together.
